a family portrait

This is the first rough cut.

A Family Portrait is a documentary about Junting's familial story, from the generation of his maternal grandparents, who fled from their home during 1930s to Guangzhou because of starvation and extreme poverty, to his parents, who started up their business and change their life because of the Open Door policy, and to Junting himself, who came out to his family during the making of this film and now lives in New York and look for his own life. This extreme personal documentary demonstrates the dramatic changes of China in modern history.
