Jun-ting Zhou (周駿挺) is a filmmaker, director of photography and writer. His works are often inspired by the people and space surrounding his life.

Zhou is interested in the relationship among images, languages, memory and identities: how media shape who we are or expand human experience hence the definition of human being? Queer intimacy is another major topic he explores in his works.

His films were shown and selected in publications and film festivals such as New York Times, New York Shorts International Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival and more. His cinematography for short films Agatha and Dora (dir. Julian de la Chica) has won numerous awards around the globe.

Zhou is an active member in Filmshop, a non-profit filmmakers collective based in New York. In 2023, he founded a production company TABÚ with his long time friends and co-workers Bryan Berrios and Matt Sparks.

Born in Guangzhou, China, Zhou speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English. He now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
